The Liraman Experience

Too many instruments around and I love them all. My first, a Chinese one row melodeon. My first odd one: The sitar.

Many more since.

Am I a collector of sorts? No, I play them, not as much as I would like to, but they do get played.

I’m at the crossroads between early and folk, between medieval and avantgarde. An amateur with a twist, if you like.

What’s a liraman? It’s a hurdy gurdy busker, once seen all over Europe.

The Liraman Experience is a concept, a trademark, my logo.

The rest of this website is for the makers, those people without whom we would be much poorer.

Enjoy!
